I wish to build on Dill as a quality community where users can discuss products, share news and get in touch in a better way than what other more generic social mediums has to offer.
We want to provide features that our users will love 😍
Dill has a public development roadmap and let's users submit feature requests.

I wish to build on Dill as a quality community where users can discuss products, share news and get in touch in a better way than what other more generic social mediums has to offer.
The Dill product database has become enormous with almost 2 million products.
The only way to keep the data at high quality is to engage the community to upload new products and update vegan status on products they scan.
To incentivize this, I wish to create a some kind of "karma" badge where users can get some recognition for their work in the Dill community.
Documented products should have a "documented badge".

As suggested on Reddit, Dill should probably integrate with Open Food Facts to contribute data to their database.
Possibly we could sync other data points data as well, for example categories and ingredient lists that Dill haven't prioritized yet, that could enhance Dill.
